We were two young parents & recent film grads with a couple DSLRS and a dream. Now equipped with over 7 years of video production experience & a growing team, we proudly serve businesses, artists, nonprofits & families across Michigan and beyond.

Lexi Couture
Director, Camera Operator, Editor, Co-Owner, Co-Founder
Lexi aka Lex Couture (she/her) is the driving force of Couture Videography. She leads in all phases of video creation from pre-production to delivery, ensuring a high quality experience every step of the way.
Her passion for storytelling began at a young age, starting with writing short stories for fun in 2nd grade throughout high school when she discovered her talent for filmmaking. Cinematic, documentary-style filmmaking is what she brings to each and every project, allowing us to authentically capture stories that matter.
Lexi earned her Bachelors degree in Film and Video Production with a specialization in Documentary Filmmaking from Grand Valley State University in 2015. She currently lives in Lansing with her husband, two rad daughters, and two kitties, Kiki and Gusgus. Her favorite things include pinball, fantasy books, camping, video games, going outside, and her husband’s cooking.
Nick Couture
Director, Camera Operator, Sound Mixer, Co-Founder, Co-Owner
Nick Couture brings a multitude of experience, creativity, and powerful problem-solving to Couture Videography. He is there to assist and guide the vision of our videos from concept to completion.
He graduated in Film and Video Production from Grand Valley State University in 2016. He has since gone on to write and direct two films for the Capital City Film Festival Fortnight Contest as well produce over 300 videos for small businesses and non-profits in Michigan.
Nick loves living with his wife, kids and cats in Lansing. His favorite things include his amazing family & friends, all things Paul Thomas Anderson, Party Down, video games, comics, books, podcasts, coffee, and running 3 times a day.
